This book is a good overview of the Cristero War, a chapter of Mexican history that is virtually unknown in the United States, but don’t expect an in depth study. There was a problem filtering reviews right now. I would have liked more narrative. It’s very hard to find anything written in English about the Cristiada, so for me this book was a welcome find.
